Cobra ODE HDD Games Loading

Hi, i was on the 3k3y forums and one of the users had a problem such that when he ran his games from an NFTS external HDD, the games and cutscenes would play in slow-motion. It was fixed by reformatting the external HDD to ext4, but I see on the website that Cobra ODE only recognizes NTFS and FAT. Anyhow, I was wondering if any of you Cobra ODE users experienced slow loading problems. BTW, I don't know the RPM of that external.

My name is Matt, im from Argentina, first of all, nice to meet you all, great website.
Ive been reading documentation in the cobra ode site and this site aswell but i havent found an answear for my questions.
Ive read that you have to rip the games with gen ps3iso in order to play them from the usb drive, so my questions are...

what kind of games cobra ode can run?
can cobra ode run multiman games?
can i download any game and just drag it to the udb drive and play it?

Raymen legends (works)
Ni nu kuni (works)
Diablo 3 ( doesn't work)
God of war 3 (works)
God of war accession (doesn't work)

Installation Help

So i know some of you pros already walked over the installation process and consider it old news but to hell with it i need help and i want to do it myself. So through some time and purchase of a 15watt then 40watt solder iron ive removed the sata sig, but ive moved to the next step and realized that there is this green thing that the qsb suppose to be, is it a necessity to use with the qsb and where am i suppose to get one?

Trouble with loading games

I Installed the cobra ode and it the boots fine with the cobra manager in the game section but after I Select a game and restart my console, the selected game never shows up in game section. I have the 2k model. Any help would be Appreciated. I can post a video if needed.

Well I finaly Have the Cobra ODE working for the most part

The manager.iso is spoofed by the manufacturer as God of war III so when you start the manager the ps3 will attempt to download the 1.03 update for the game however no message to this effect will show on the screen.

*Workaround 1
Disable Internet connection
With the internet disconnected the manager will not try to download the update from psn and all should work fine of course with no internet connection >< ...

*Workaround 2
Cancel the Update
Even though you cannot see the msg on the screen pressing the O button a few times should cancel the update and the manager will load.

If you are getting a 8002.... error when loading the manager simply go into game data and delete the God of War III 1.03 Update and reload the manager and the error should be gone.

Hopefully we shall see an update from the Cobra team soon that fixes the issue.

I just recive a Cobra ODE, and I am wondering can it install pkg games and reactpsn to active them... and when I take the ode will it run?
And what if I don't solder, just stick it in... untill I finish install the games... will it work?

Installation and User Manual online

Install guide and user manual is online.
But we need more to get things going with the ODE.
We need manager.iso, cobra.db and a softwarepack (genps3iso tool) to create valid iso files.
The ODE will need a valid supported game in the optical drive all the time when running the manager or game iso.

Could they dynamically sign the iso's with the optical drive game? So change the game in the optical drive and the iso's are signed with a new code?
Woudln't that make blocking/detecting the ODE very hard?

Cobra ODE in hand could I get an install guide?

Why must the Cobra team continue to lie to us. I have angry customers demanding a product that they said they were going to ship to retailers last week. I really don't think it's fair for reseller or customers to b*****it them around. Just my opinion . I think the Cobra ode is going to be a great product when is released. But don't tell your customers that you are doing something and leave us to deal with the customers to MAKE up some stories about why we do not have the product.
