\r\n Anybody tried it and got a fully working copy? I tried 9.2, 9.1, 9.3, 10 and 10.1 as a mounted iso, but none of them work. Maybe andybode here had better luck.\r\n
\r\n Cool, but how to start an elf on my PS3? Or do I have to rebuild an image with the patched codebreaker elf to work on my cobra mount? \n \nSo is there nobody who got this to work on his PS3? Or is willing to try something out?\r\n

\r\n You could try a program called apache (not the famous one, this is for ps2). It can be used to extract and substitute files from ps2 iso\'s preserving the lba. You can get it at www.sksapps.com under ps2 apps miscellaneous. I have read that apache 1.1 is more reliable. There are tutorials for using it, for example with the agent under fire exploit (ulaunch renamed and substituted for the elf of the driving missions). I don\'t have a bc console so I don\'t even know if it is necessary for a ps2 elf on the ps3.\r\n
\r\n Ok, I\'ve tried with the 007 exploit, built an iso with codebreaker 9.2 elf in it and mounted it via cobra manager. It worked well, but, when I put a disc in the drive, when prompted, the ps3 hangs itself up.\r\n
Ah, sorry, I was not clear. I only suggested looking at that 007 exploit as guide to using apache. That\'s the only context I can recall seeing a tutorial on apache. Unless that is a patched codebreaker elf, it is still going to check for a codebreaker disc in the drive. I am refering to the codebreaker elf making the check not the ps3. \n \nI still think your best shot is to try the patched cb elf (but remember I have no experience with ps2 on ps3). There is a thread on patching it over at http://psx-scene.com You have to copy the cb elf off your disc (though I guess some people download it). And use the program on that thread to patch it. If you can\'t find it, let me know and I\'ll see if it\'s still on one of my hdd\'s. \n \nOh, about the hangin up when loading, that happens on certain models of ps2 when there is anything plugged into the usb port. The updated cb usb drivers were incompatible. Also, loading from elf takes a couple minutes (the screen stays black a couple minutes) on the ps2. Don\'t know if any of that matters at all on the ps3, just thought I should mention it. \nGood luck.
\r\n I\'ve found the patched one and used it with the 007 exploit, but unfortunately, the ps3 hangs up, after inserting the game disc, when promted. Even after some minutes. I think the ps3 reboots, after putting the disc in, so that the codebreaker options will be resettet and the game can\'t be played with codes. Maybe anybody else here is luckier with is bc PS2.\r\n
\r\n My thoughts. \n \nI was wondering if you had an original codebreaker disc. This could help us narrow what could be happening down and deduce if maybe the problem is with the iso/elf files or if there is a compatibility issue with the codebreaker itself. It\'s possible the codebreaker doesn\'t work due to ps3 updates. It is also a possibility that there is something wrong with the usb driver in the codebreaker. \n \nAlso another idea is that the ps3 security is getting in the way and might need to be bypassed. I thought some people got multi disc ps1 games to work by holding the ps button and then swapping discs. Maybe it\'s similar here. \n \nAnd lastly. I ask is your console backwards compatible? Even if it is, it might benefit you to try using openps2 loader. There was an iso uploaded for cobra users a while back. Btw, I think those patched codebreaker elfs are made to search for an elf made boot.elf. An unpatched elf is supposed to look for a disc in the tray. And the patched elfs were made to be used with ps2 hdd loaders.\r\n
\r\n I have the original Code breaker cd9000, can I help in any way? This disc has a problem loading on ps3 and black screens, I\'ll try it tonight with the cobra \n \nEdit: Im and idiot and didnt read the post, I do however have the original CB 9.2 disc for ps2. So again, anything needs doing?\r\n
\r\n No it\'s fine. I already gave up on trying to load CB. Tried all versions in all possible ways and none of them worked to launch the game with cheats\r\n
