I'm curious to know what the pros and cons are and the differences between the Cobra ODE and the 3K3y? They seem pretty much like the same product. I've install the Cobra ODE in my Fat and I'm looking at installing another ODE in my slim, I just don't know why I should chose one ODE over the other?
There are pros and cons and comparisons available on the internet, although not many at this point. You know my personal favorite is the COBRA ODE, but here are some pros and cons from a biased person.
* Cobra allows the use of the manager of your choice for game selection, 3k3y only shows the games as directories in a data disc, or you need to buy the remote controller separately and do the selection on a small LCD screen, or buy the wifi dongle to do the game selection through your browser.
* Cobra is an all-in-one device, 3k3y requires multiple adapters, one for each model, their QSB is huge, and doesn't fit properly on 4xxx C series, then you need QSB to SATA and adapter, then the 3k3y.
* 3k3y doesn't support all consoles, only FAT PATA and 4xxx models, no support for FAT slim, 2k, 2k5 or 3k models. You need to wait until they release a new adapter for those models and buy it
* Cobra has higher quality board and components and ships with everything you need.
* Cobra doesn't use up one of the USB ports on your PS3
* Cobra has great documentation, is very reactive and has great customer support! (or so I hear)
