Players will be able to bid on the items based on the number of gold trophies in their collection
BidForGreatness.com launched today, offering bidders an auction house filled with 'ultra-rare PlayStation memorabilia,' according to a post on the PlayStation Blog
Finally those gold trophies you been collecting on your PSN profile will be worth something, you can use them to help you win ultra-rare PlayStation items from a new site launched this week called 'BidForGreatness' and was recently promoted on the PlayStation Blog.
"Here's how it works", social media manager Sid Shuman wrote. "You'll log into BidForGreatness.com using your PSN ID. The site will tally all of your hard-earned Gold Trophies, and you'll use them to bid on 15 unique items (don't worry, you'll keep the actual Trophies associated with your PSN ID). You'll bid on the items you want using Gold Trophies and skip the ones you don't. Each day will see a new item go up for bid for just 24 hours, so be sure to check back often!"

FCC Filing for PS4 Dev Kit also shows off its extra ports
More details have appeared on the PS4, with possible hint of internal specs, as the FCC filing for the latest devkit claims an 2.75GHz clock speed, which is alot higher then the rumored leak specs.
EnGadget has recently published the FCC filings from Sony for their latest development kit that game studios are using to get those launch games ready for the PlayStation 4, and what is neat is the fact 2.75GHz is listed as the 'max clock speed', so does that mean the actual retail systems are 'underclocked' to 1.6GHz/1.8GHz, or does Sony infact have a more powerful CPU/GPU running inside!
"Sony proudly showed off its PlayStation 4 hardware for the first time at E3, and now we're getting a peek at what developers are working with this generation thanks to the FCC.
The DUH-D1000AA prototype Development Kit for PS4 is listed in these documents, tested for its Bluetooth and 802.11 b/g/n WiFi radios. As one would expect, the diagrams show it eschews the sleek design of the consumer model for extra cooling, a shape made for rack mounts plus extra indicator lights and ports.
Also of note is a "max clock speed" listing of 2.75GHz, and although we don't know how fast the game system will run by default, it's interesting to hear what that 8-core AMD Jaguar silicon may be capable of while maintaining a temperature between 5 and 35 degrees celsius."

PS4′s digital library lets you play games anywhere
Sony has spoken about accessing your PS4 games on any machine, and how PlayStation 4′s ability to ‘play as you download’ makes, 'a digital [game] library a practical option in the real world'.
A new great feature of the upcoming PlayStation 4 console has been confirmed by Sony. -- That the usage of digital downloads, will mean you can access your game library (as long as its 'digital downloads', not disc-based) from any PS4 console just be logging into your PSN account, and no long 'download waits' either as remember the next-gen Sony console has an onboard 'play as you download' processor.
Sony has spoken about accessing your PS4 games on any machine, and how PlayStation 4′s ability to ‘play as you download' makes, "a digital [game] library a practical option in the real world".
PS4′s digital library lets you play games anywhere
Speaking at Develop, Neil Brown, Sony's R&D senior team leader, outlined the process that lets you access your games on other machines at other people's houses:
"You can visit your friends house you can log into your account and play any game from your digital library, which is good. But how useful is that if it takes half a day to download the game you want to play? With Play As You Download you get much quicker access to at least the first section of the game so you can start playing quicker. So this makes a digital library a practical option in the real world."
He also explained more about how the same system means you'll never have to wait for games to install. Instead you can play instantly but still benefit from the faster loading and streaming from PS4′s hard drive thanks to more background processes:
"A similar system also works on Blu-ray, chunks are automatically copied to the hard drive in the background. This means that after the first few minutes your game can rely on having faster read speeds from the hard drive. Which provides a better experience for players, and this is a completely background process for the player. They don't have to wait for anything to install before playing the game. The game will launch as soon as the disk has been put in the drive."
I am sure now some XBONE fanboys are going to be screaming and more upset at the DRM 'trolls' from causing this feature to be 'removed' from their box, but look Sony has figured out how to do with without the need of DRM, so M$ put on your new Julie to work and get her to think of how-to-do-it-also, if you don't want to use more loyal 360 customers over Sony because of your 'fail-box'.
